Dina Clark Design

very briefly…

I remember the first Mac ever, and my co-workers and I firing it up to see what it could do. An exciting moment: no more typesetting and rubylith. Back then, late 80's – early 1990's,
I was designer at UC Berkeley Development Office. Fast forward a few years, and I'm working as art director and publications manager for UC Santa Cruz Extension. Then, by the late 90's, I'm looking for more variety, but still very interested in the non-profit and education world, so I decide to branch out with my own firm. That's it in a nutshell.

things I love…

drawing and painting, making things, gardening, reading, riding my bike to work, my house, working 5 minutes from my house, watching the sun rise and set, standing by the ocean and feeling small, other places and cultures, working with local businesses, working with non-profits, eating my own tomatoes, doing puzzles, walking in the woods, wild flowers, camping, anywhere near water, swimming, weekends, harvesting my compost.
